This course covers current laws and regulations updates. Keeping up with the regulations, policies and procedures can be a daunting task for an administrator. This course is designed to update students on all the regulations that have changed as well as reviewing the important regulations that we face daily. It is extremely important to operate your communities according to Title 22 code of Regulations and the Health and Safety Code. Knowledge of these regulations and the changes/ updates are designed to keep residents and clients safe and to keep your communities compliant to avoid costly citations.
This course will also cover mandated reporter requirements and LGBTQ Inclusivity.
This meets the 4 hours of laws and regulations required for ARF/RCFE recertification. This is a 10-hour course via Live-Stream. Each session begins at 8am, ends at 6:30pm with a 30-minute lunch and 10-minute breaks relatively every hour but not held to.
Late policy
If a student is less than 30 minutes late for the start of the class on day one, then the student may make up the 30 minutes after the class with the instructor. If a student is returning more than 10 minutes late from breaks or lunch, they will need to repeat the day in another ICTP course corresponding with the same day that time was missed. If a student misses a day of the course, the student has 90 days to make up that particular day, otherwise they will need to repeat the course in its entirety.
Participants will receive a downloadable Booklet that goes along with the class. It can be printed out or you may use it electronically. It must be available and accessible during the course.
