UCampus Group Virtual Class Attendance & Code of Conduct

UCampus Group’s virtual courses are live, instructor-led classes and must be treated with
the same level of attendance, participation, professionalism, and appropriate conduct as
an in-person classroom.

By enrolling in and attending a UCampus Group virtual course, you agree to the following:

Attendance & Participation
Students must be present and actively attending the class for the entire scheduled
instructional period, except during instructor-approved breaks.

Simply logging into the virtual classroom does not constitute attendance. Students are
expected to remain attentive, available, and engaged throughout the course.

Students may not attend class while:
Working another job or performing other work duties
Driving or traveling
Attending appointments
Shopping, running errands, or participating in other activities
Sleeping or otherwise disengaged from instruction
Leaving the class running in the background while doing unrelated activities

Students must arrange their schedules so they are free from significant distractions and
able to fully participate for the duration of the class.

If an instructor cannot reasonably verify that a student is present and participating, the
student may not receive attendance credit for that instructional time.

Camera & Virtual Classroom Requirements
When cameras are required, students must remain visible on camera as directed by the
instructor. Students should attend from an appropriate location where they can participate
comfortably and professionally.

Students must be appropriately dressed and conduct themselves as they would in a
physical classroom.

Attending class while bathing, showering, changing clothes, partially or fully undressed,
using the restroom, or engaging in other inappropriate or private activities is strictly
prohibited.

Professional Conduct
Students are expected to maintain respectful and professional behavior toward
instructors, staff, and other students

.
Disruptive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, obscene, or
otherwise inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

UCampus Group reserves the right to immediately remove a student from the virtual
classroom when their behavior is inappropriate, disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with
these expectations.

Removal From Class & Refunds
A student who violates these requirements may be removed from class and may lose credit
for instructional hours already completed or scheduled.

Serious violations, including nudity, sexual conduct, indecent exposure, threatening
behavior, or other conduct that may violate applicable law, may result in immediate
removal from the course without a refund. UCampus Group may also report conduct to
appropriate authorities, licensing agencies, certifying bodies, or other entities when
warranted or required by law.

Student Responsibility
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have an appropriate environment, reliable
internet access, functioning equipment, and suƯicient uninterrupted time to complete the
course.

Personal appointments, work obligations, errands, childcare responsibilities, travel, or
other scheduling conflicts do not excuse a student from attendance and participation
requirements.

Acknowledgment
By enrolling in a UCampus Group course, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to
comply with the UCampus Group Virtual Class Attendance & Code of Conduct.
I understand that virtual attendance is subject to the same expectations as attendance in a
physical classroom and that logging into a class while participating in unrelated activities
does not constitute acceptable attendance.

I understand that failure to follow these requirements may result in loss of attendance
credit, removal from class, removal from the course, and/or forfeiture of course fees as
described above.
